Why Become a DealerStar Reseller?

The timing has never better for “alternative” DMS systems.  On an average, dealers that have shared their billings with us pay the tier one providers (ADP and R+R) about $12,000 a month in support.  These two companies hold about 80% of the market and 95% of the larger dealer and groups.  The two reasons for this are;

1.       Manufacturer Integration.  In the next few years, Star Standards will be complete and this will open up manufacturer integration and create a standard to communicate with Ford, GM, Chrysler, Honda, Toyota and most participating manufacturers.  In the meantime, Oxlo Systems provides manufacturer integration for emerging DMS companies.
2.       Multi-Company.  Most of the tier two providers do not provide true multi-company features, so dealership groups of 3-300 dealerships must use ADP and R+R.

I saw DealerStar a few years ago, how does this version differ?

Yes, much different and the following are a few of the major improvements we added including a whole new “look and feel.”  We switched code generators (which you’ll be required to purchase for $399.)  It is still created in PHP/MySQL, but this version has much more JavaScript and the code generator is over 10 times faster.  Using this code generator it can truly be customized by one programmer – which means less development and support costs.  They also have a version for ASP/SQL if you like that platform better.

What is missing?  Yes, it is too good to be true! 

1.       Your customization for your dealership clients and/or private labeling.

2.       Manufacturer integration (See Oxlo – or work out your own – or do your dealers REALLY need it?

3.       Forms (Not hard to build, and we have many done, but each dealership needs their own forms built.)

4.       The cost to be a reseller is $75,000 and includes the database and code.  You'll also have monthly support fees for each installed dealership of $275 a month - but you can charge what ever you want for DealerStar to your dealer clients.
